Meet Sherri
Sherri Garrity is the Chief Corporate Fugitive and creator of the Five Keys Success SystemTM for ex-corporate employees and aspiring entrepreneurs who want to break free from the confines of their corporate experience andĀ unlock their business potential for greaterĀ personal freedom and prosperity.
Sherri left the corporate world in 2007 to develop Make It Count Communications – providing strategic communications advice and helping organizations fix communications problems and create happier and more productive workplaces. Within the first year working part time in her new business, she matched her previous corporate salary. In the second year, she doubled it, working less hours and taking more vacations than ever before.
After unofficially mentoring many other small business owners, and getting approached by several colleagues wanting to know how she made the leap and thrived so quickly, she launched the Corporate Fugitive to help aspiring entrepreneurs and new business owners with a balance of marketing and business information and advice, and support so that they can achieve more passion, prosperity and fun.
In 2009 she produced the first Entrepreneurs Unplugged international telesummit which featured 13 notable corporate fugitives and small business experts including Michael Gerber of the E-Myth, Pamela Slim of Escape from Cubicle Nation, Melanie Benson Strick of the CEO Factor and Success Connections, Kendall Summerhawk, the Million Dollar Marketing Coach, Naomi Dunford of Itty Biz, Kelly O”Neil of Marketing to Millionaires and UpLevel Strategies and many more.
Sherri’s diverse professional background and unique skill set was developed over a 20 year career in marketing and corporate communications for Fortune 500 companies and some of the most distinguished international agencies and organizations in the country.
She lives in a small village near Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with her husband, daughter and extraordinary Airedale puppy.
“My goal is to live an extraordinary life… and to help you build one too. We only have one life to live, and I believe we each have a gift and a purpose. I’m convinced that the world would be a much happier and peaceful place if we all had the privilege of doing what we are meant to do. No one should have to spend their lives making an income but being miserable doing it. It breaks my heart to see talented and creative people suffocate in jobs not serving them. What’s even worse is when they start businesses and don’t do well, simply because they don’t have the tools, knowledge and support they need. My vision is that no one has to give up on his or her dream.” Sherri Garrity, Chief Corporate Fugitive
